The Free Trade Zone Corporation celebrates the eleventh Great Human Bow, formed by women and men from the V\u00edctor Espaillat Mera Industrial Park.<\/p>\n
Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic \u2013 Friday, October 31st, 2025. \u2013 On a pink-colored day filled with hope, close to a thousand women and men, employees of the V\u00edctor Espaillat Mera Industrial Park (PIVEM), formed the Great Human Bow, a symbol of the fight against and prevention of breast cancer, as part of the eleventh edition of the \u201c\u201dBecause I Love You\u201d campaign organized by the Santiago Free Trade Zone Corporation (CZFS).<\/p>\n
On this 2025 edition, the campaign has performed more than 3,000 mammograms and sonomammograms, reaffirming its commitment to women’s health. To date, since its beginning, the campaign has reached the impressive figure of more than 21,600 free mammograms and sonomammograms performed for female workers in the free trade zone and their families.<\/p>\n
The \u201cBecause I Love You\u201d initiative combines education, emotional support, and preventive medical services, delivered through M\u0112DICA, PIVEM\u2019s health institution. Since its beginning, its main goal has been to promote the prevention and early detection of breast cancer, positively impacting thousands of women in the northern region.<\/p>\n
At the event, Fernando Garc\u00eda, CZFS Operations Director, reported that a satisfaction survey was conducted this year, which provided them with feedback on a very high level of satisfaction and a clear demand for the campaign to continue.<\/p>\n
Radiologist Marcel Morel then explained that in this edition, they extended the duration of the campaign to provide medical examinations to people outside the park as well, \u201cbecause health has no borders, and neither does breast cancer.\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u00a8A crucial advance is the availability of the most advanced breast MRI in the northern region at M\u0112DICA. This not only represents a technological achievement, but also an act of medical justice. Having more accurate diagnostics means offering hope in a timely manner, reflected Morel.<\/p>\n
With more than a decade of experience, the \u201c\u201d Because I Love You\u201d campaign has established itself as a template for corporate social responsibility, integrating the efforts of institutions, companies, and partners committed to the health and well-being of Dominican women.<\/p>\n
