The Metropolitan Orchestra of Santiago performed their repertoire for the community
Santiago de los Caballeros. The Santiago Free Zone Corporation (CZFS) celebrated for the third time the “Christmas in PlaZona” concert; in collaboration with the Santiago Metropolitan Orchestra, with the sponsorship of Banreservas.
The band performed melodies representing the Dominican popular songbook and Christmas themes. The audience enjoyed a festive atmosphere filled with amenities, lights, tea, popcorn, raffles and Santa Claus for the children’s entertainment.
Fernando Garc铆a, the Corporation’s Operations Director, expressed the team’s joy in organizing a Christmas celebration activity for the families living in the area surrounding the V铆ctor Espaillat Mera Industrial Park (PIVEM).

In addition, community leader Rosa Silverio, coordinator of the Development Council of the Santa Lucia Neighborhood, spoke on behalf of the Western Santiago associations.
芦In all the organizations where we work for the improvement and well-being of the community, we are aware of the importance of creating spaces for entertainment that allow for healthy entertainment and, at the same time, learning for families. We congratulate the Corporation for creating these areas for us to fully enjoy and celebrate,” expressed Silverio, who is also part of Fundaci贸n Solidaridad.
PlaZona is located in front of gate two of the V铆ctor Espaillat Mera Industrial Park and in front of M脡DICA. It is a space dedicated to entertainment and recreation, where families from the area can practice sports and recreational activities. It is one of the projects included in the CZFS master plan.
