Ministry of Labor recognizes the Corporation and 29 PIVEM companies’ best immunization practices

Santiago de los Caballeros December 15, 2021.- The Santiago Free Zone Corporation (CZFS) and 29 companies of the Victor Espaillat Mera Industrial Park (PIVEM) were certified by the Ministry of Labor for their best immunization practices against Covid-19.

During the celebration of the XVII Ibero-American Social Security Congress, presented by the Minister of Labor Luis Miguel De Camps García, Gina Magnolia Riano Baron, Secretary General of the Ibero-American Social Security Organization (OISS, for its acronym in Spanish) and Juan Estévez, Vice Minister of Labor for Social Security. The award was given for the company’s strict compliance with the biosafety protocol established because of the pandemic.

Fernanda Olivo, human resources coordinator, and Elisaul Vargas, project outreach manager of PIVEM, received the certificate awarded to the Corporation at the event held in Santo Domingo.

We are honored to receive the certification for best immunization practices for Covid-19. We remain focused on the prevention role to safeguard what we value most, the health of our employees and their families,” Fernanda Olivo expressed.

The Santiago Free Trade Zone Corporation also congratulated the 29 PIVEM companies that also received recognition for their commitment and best practices in the immunization process against Covid-19.

The companies of PIVEM that were recognized by the Ministry of Labor, include 21 Century Labels International, S.A., American Packaging Corporation, Britcarib Textiles, Cigar Rings, D. M. International, EGM Tobacco Processors, Finos Textiles Dominicana, Tabacalera A. Fuente & Cia., General Cigar Dominicana and Global Technology Group.

In addition, Grand Island Group, Gudisa, Inetab Kaubeck, International Packaging Company, International Tobacco Consulting, Miniking Toods, Notions Dominicana, Now Logistics, Pacific Global Dominicana, Quick Services, Resonance Manufacturing, RJ Torres, Rolida Investments, Sewn Products and Soles Del Mar International. As well as Souriau Republica Dominicana, Tabacalera La Alianza, World Travel & Tourist Operators and Zanwill International.
