Five decades ago, in the heart of Santiago, a dream was born that would become a key driver for the socioeconomic development of the Dominican Republic. The Santiago Free Zone Corporation has forged a legacy of transformation, innovation, and leadership, marking significant milestones in the country’s business landscape.
Since 1974, the Corporation has managed the Victor Espaillat Mera Industrial Park (PIVEM). The mission that gave rise to the entity was to create and attract investments that would make it possible to create spaces for development through employment in the most vulnerable sectors of the time.
Almost half a century later, the Corporation continues to consolidate the largest projects in the city of Santiago de los Caballeros, contributing to the socioeconomic development of the entire northern region and the country, and increasingly strengthening the competitiveness of the Free Zone sector as a pillar of the national economy.
We promote a business model that drives the sustainable economic and social development of the Dominican Republic by generating purposeful wealth through the creation of prosperity opportunities that elevate human potential, fostering values and innovation.
To be the institution that integrates and leads the consolidation of Santiago as the business hub and investment epicenter of the Americas, standing out globally for our competitiveness, entrepreneurial culture, and deep social commitment.
